Second hand clothing platform with a physical hub in Maastricht.

About the business

A hybrid online resale platform and a small physical shop on Brusselsestraat where people drop off, browse, and try on. Yara takes a commission on each sale, paying sellers in cash or store credit.

The founder

Yara Okafor

Yara Okafor, 26

Yara built the first version during her bachelor at UCM. The business has run for two years and breaks even. The bottleneck is the software, currently a workaround using Shopify and spreadsheets.

The ask

Funding goal: € 60.000

  • Software development€ 25.000
  • Larger space and refit€ 20.000
  • UM student marketing€ 10.000
  • Working capital€ 5.000

Projected returns

412%
per year over 5 years

What GrowthShare brings

Technical hire support, GDPR ready customer data setup, marketing across UM student bodies.

Risks and what happens if it fails

This is the earliest stage business in the round. Revenue is real but small. The bet is that growth is software bottlenecked, not demand bottlenecked.

If the business cannot meet its commitments, backers may receive less than they pledged or nothing at all. GrowthShare will work to recover the principal where possible.

Updates from the founder

  1. First tech hire in pipeline

We are in final conversations with a full stack developer who would join the moment funding clears. The new platform spec is ready.
